HIGHER POWER v1 - Day Job Edition

Elle found a stack of V1 PCBs while doing inventory and we've had comments before of people who wanted an option without artwork. This reminded me of back in the TMD days and decided to release these until they are gone as "Day Job Edition". No more worrying about walking into the office talent show with your modeler/preamp just to have HR call you out for the "satanic imagery" on your power amp. Limited quantity at a killer price.

Higher Power is a 60W class d solid state power amp solution. 

Don't be fooled, it'll push your 4x12 plenty but it shines on a 1x12 or 2x12 at bedroom levels. The buffer inside sets up your signal with a nice flat response going into the power section so you can drop your favorite preamp pedals in front.

Output impedance of 4-16 ohm. 

Designed to be fed with 24VDC center negative.  It can run on as little as 9v with power scaling down to approximately ~10W. This is not recommended to be powered by your daisy chain or iso-supply. Recommended to be with the supplied power supply and polarity adapter that is shipped with the product.

The supplied 24VDC power supply is center positive and the pedal is center negative. You must use the supplied adapter with them. Adapter is not required if using a typical center negative 9-18v power supply.

Do not use a class d power amp with an attenuator/loadbox. It’s not necessary and it will damage one or the other. Consult your attenuators manual first as I do not know all products and cannot answer for each product that exists out there. For example, Torpedo products specifically state they are safe for solid state amps and that is what I use here.

Replacement power supplies and v1 power supplies no longer stocked. Purchase replacements from online. Recommended power supply is 24V Center Positive 2.7A with Polarity Inverting Adapter. The two options that have worked perfectly for individuals in the past. Use these as a reference for selecting your own. Anything less than 1.5A can result in adverse effects at higher volumes.
