A versatile mid shaping tool that was developed for those asking for GRIM’s Bite control to be its own pedal. This fully parametric mids control can boost or scoop mids with surgical accuracy. Use the Tight control to adjust the amount of low end while dialing in Blend for the amount of effect your amp sees for the right amount of mids. Of course there are trim pots for the tweakers who want to get deep into the tone chasing.

CONTROLS

Name Location Description
Level External Plenty of output to boost your signal or just dial in unity gain.
Tight External Post-Mids, Pre-gain high pass to tighten up the low end.
Blend External Mix between 100% buffered dry signal and 100% wet signal
Full CCW for buffered dry.
Bite External Scoop or boost your mids.
Start at noon.
Shift External Shift the center frequency of the BITE control.
Start at noon.
LPF Internal (trim) Smooth out the high end of the gain output.
Default: 9/10, Almost fully CW.
Peak Internal (toggle) Toggle between two different Q widths of the BITE control.
Right: High/Narrow, Left: Low/Wide
Gain Internal (trim) Take it from precision EQ and add some sledge hammer to it.
Default: 1/4 CW
Clean Boost Internal (trim) Adjust from unity buffer to clean boost on the 100% dry side of the Blend.
Default: 3/4 CW
Bypass LED Brightness Internal Adjust overall brightness of front LED.
Default setting at minimum (full CCW).
